Director of Brands - Heirloom

Orlando or Tampa, FL

Primary Objective:

As a Director of Brands ("DOB") at Puff 'n Stuff Catering your goal is to develop, execute and monitor brand strategy for our new catering delivery division Heirloom. The Heirloom brand will offer an elevated drop off catering experience through our easy-to-use e-commerce site. That will involve tasks such as understanding and tracking industry and consumer trends, market research, managing communication channels, and measuring and reporting on the success and performance of the brand in the marketplace. You will take full ownership of Heirloom and be the driving force behind its success.  Your dedication and commitment will help us introduce this new division at Puff ‘n Stuff and grow it to become the leading delivery service in all of Florida.

In your role as DOB, your primary goal is to cultivate and execute a brand strategy plan designed to put our brand in front of consumers, increase knowledge of the brand, and increase the likelihood that consumers will prefer our brand over competitors.  You will be to find ways to shape, direct, and routinely measure the impact of the brand.  This will involve working with our sales and marketing team to ensure proper brand positioning and brand communications efforts.

Together, we will work towards consistently exceeding client expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and building a reputation for delivering outstanding catering experiences.

Responsibilities:

•    Maintain the brand’s e-commerce platform to ensure seamless operation and updates when needed.

•    Act as the single point of contact for all analytics needs

•    You will have oversight of all Heirloom transactions and customer relations

•    Build and understand the customer journey, pain points, and drivers of behavior

•    Efficiently leverage analytics resources to speed up delivery of insights and provide dotted-line supervision and project oversight

•    Work with our e-commerce platform and delivery partners to maintain a successful partnership. 

•    Partner with our culinary team to ensure quality control of our product and packaging.

•    Work with marketing to drive communications with customers and prospective customers over several different channels: including but not limited to social media, website, newsletter, content marketing and traditional advertising

•    Be responsible for all business development and networking in order to increase brand awareness and revenue

•    Track and monitor a range of measures of brand health, such as brand image, brand loyalty, brand awareness, brand reputation, and brand perception

•    Ability to alter and edit the Heirloom concept as needed

•    Gather data that can help PNS to understand a brand’s current position, identify areas of improvement and craft an ideal position. 

•    Translate analytics outcomes into actionable business insights and recommendations in the service of business objectives and results

•    Conduct proper research to build a campaign that connects with our target audience

•    Be aware of the underlying value proposition at PNS and Heirloom and to be able to translate that value into messages that resonate with potential customers through effect brand messaging

•    Influence brand and help determine brand strategy through the appropriate adoption of advanced analytics techniques and solutions

•    Make recommendations for needed positions and hire and train a support team as the brand grows

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or business.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Brand Manager, preferably in the hospitality field.
  • Understanding of the catering, restaurant and/or delivery industry
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the region and work nights and weekends.
