Position Overview:

Puff 'n Stuff Catering is adding a Marketing Manager who embodies a blend of creativity and strategic thinking onto our team. This role is pivotal in elevating our brand within the catering and events industry. This role is critical in bridging the gap between our internal teams and our external marketing agency. You will be instrumental in aligning our marketing initiatives with our brand's vision, ensuring that our campaigns resonate with our audience and reflect our commitment to excellence in the catering and event planning industry.

Primary Objective: 

The Marketing Manager is responsible for providing innovative and dynamic leadership in the areas of marketing, business development, social campaigns, content creation and branding. Leveraging digital and traditional means, the Marketing Manager will work hands on furthering the brand awareness of Puff 'n Stuff Catering with an end goal of continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Design and Campaign Execution:

  • Lead the creation of marketing campaigns and collateral across various channels, including digital and print.
  • Utilize Adobe InDesign and other graphic design tools to create visually compelling marketing materials and digital assets that align with our brand's upscale image including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft office suite.
  • Work with sales teams to educate both internal and external stakeholders about our product features and their benefits by assembling proposals, videos, slide shows and menus.
  • Continually adapt and innovate our marketing strategies to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving catering and events industry.
  • Ability to create, capture, and edit video content for social.
  • Develop and design all ads and client-facing materials including menus and collateral. 
  • Achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage for Puff 'n Stuff Catering across all available media and maintain effective relationships with local and industry press. 

 

Marketing Strategy and Campaign Development:

    • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that resonate with our brand's objectives and target key demographics.
    • Develop marketing campaigns with a focus on brand partnerships, event venue collaborations and customer acquisition and lead generation.
    • Stay informed on the latest marketing tools, applications, channels, design, and strategies.
    • Create and maintain a robust content calendar, ensuring a strategic mix of marketing materials and campaigns.

 

Brand and Partnership Management:

    • Foster strong relationships with venues and other industry partners to enhance our brand's presence and reach.
    • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with broader business goals.
    • Uphold a consistent and compelling brand voice across all marketing channels, ensuring all content reflects Puff 'n Stuff's identity and values.
    • Identify and partner with influencers and industry leaders to broaden our reach and enhance our brand credibility.
    • Monitor for potential brand issues and respond effectively to maintain a positive brand image.
    • Serve as e-commerce brand manager to oversee and implement integrated marketing efforts including website, social media, CRM, outbound email, interactive, promotional, and advertising communications from creative input through development, approval, and execution.
    • Achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage for Puff 'n Stuff Catering across all available media and maintain effective relationships with local and industry press

Analytics and Performance Measurement:

    • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data to refine and improve future strategies.
    • Regularly report on campaign performance, aiming to maximize results and ROI.
    • Ensure marketing content is optimized for search engines, aligning with Puff 'n Stuff's overall SEO strategy.
    • Develop novel approaches to increase brand visibility and audience engagement, particularly through targeted marketing campaigns with our Marketing Partner
    • Proficient in Google Adwords, Youtube and LinkedIn analytics

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with different teams, especially sales and event planning, to develop catering menus and packaging that support overall business objectives.
    • Ensure marketing efforts are well-integrated with the company's overall strategy and brand messaging.
    • Offer guidance and training to team members on best marketing practices, ensuring cohesive efforts across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a marketing management role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating skills in campaign development and brand management.
  • Excellent skills in content creation, graphic design, editing, and communication.
  • Strong In-Design Skill
  • Wordpress experience preferred 
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing analytics and tools knowledge.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to train others in social media and content creation including but not limited to graphic design, website creation and brand execution.
  • Strong Graphic Design and Social media skills
  • Knowledge of Font-end development, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
